Anton Maurice

Anton Maurice is an American author, poet, and blogger. In his youth, he took an interest in writing and what began as a hobby eventually grew into a passion which prompted him to seek a degree in English at South Carolina State University. He is the author of the young adolescent novels Coming to Terms and Pretty Boys.

While there continues to be a stigma surrounding homosexuality, with most perceptions being that it is something to be ashamed of, as a writer of adolescent literature Anton Maurice aims to help youths struggling with their sexuality or individuality to know that they should never feel ashamed and most importantly that they are not alone. Currently residing in Orangeburg, South Carolina and observing the ever changing world around him, his works cover such social issues as homophobia, racism, depression, violence, gender fluidity, women’s rights and sexism, sexual assault and more.
